- There are four people in the diner; two are a couple, one is a man with his back to the viewer, and a man behind the counter serving the rest of them.
- The couple are over dressed. The woman is wearing a fancy seeming red dress, while the man is wearing a very well tailored suit. Both have a depressing face, they seem out of place not just because of their cloths, but also because they seem to be elsewhere, not in the moment or the diner.
- The man who is not facing the viewer seems to be exactly like the man in the couple, except his cloths seem more worn.
- The man behind the counter seems like he is looking at the couple, but based on their expression, it is more likely that he is staring out of the wind behind them into the empty street.
- The diner itself is extremely bright. The light from inside the diner shines throughout the entire scene and makes the inside of the diner fluorescent. And because of this light, there are also a lot of shadows.
- There are no visible doors in the diner except for the door to the bathroom, which makes everyone inside seems trapped.
- And the the man serving the others is even more trapped, there are no doors or spaces in the counter for him to leave. Perhaps that is why he is looking outside with an expression of longing.
- I will continue this later.
